Regarding the Bettws FC / Cardiff Bay Warriors promotion Issue

Following a recent two stage appeal process and a precedent set elsewhere in grassroots football in Wales this summer an emergency meeting of the Officers of the South Wales Football Association was convened and it was decided that Cardiff Bay Warriors would play in the Championship Division of the South Wales Premier League this coming season.
.
In swift response to this decision the Officers of the South Wales Premier League unsuccessfully approached the South Wales Football Association asking that in the light of the above decision that the third-placed club in Division One East also play in the League’s Championship Division for the 2024-25 season.
.
The decision of the South Wales Football Association was ratified by the League Management Board of the South Wales Premier League at an emergency LMB meeting earlier this evening.
As a result, both Bettws FC and Cardiff Bay Warriors will now play in the Championship Division of the South Wales Premier League this season. Due to the fact that there will now be an extra team in this division the bottom FIVE clubs will now be relegated from this division at the end of the 2024-25 season.
.
Yours faithfully,
,
